Why This Restaurant Stood Out

Why this Restaurant Stood Out: Miceli's
http://bit.ly/2bETmuz

When you walk into any good Italian restaurant, there are some things that are expected. The music playlist is filled with old-time Italian music, the lighting is dimmed to give the romantic mood, and the interior is constructed and decorated to have a true Italian feel.

Even before walking in, you're struck by the uniqueness this restaurant delivers. They've painted the outer walls in such a way to make the restaurant look like it's connected to an old-town plaza. When we entered, you are hit with the melodious sounds of a real piano being played.

The host took us to our table which put us in great position for the show. Our conversations stopped when we started to hear someone sing. I'm not talking about karaoke, but the waitstaff singing opera and classic Italian songs! This blew us away, and to top it off the food and the drinks were excellent.

When I was looking this place up today to write on it, I noticed that Miceli's is labeled as the "Singing Restaurant". What branding! This company is now in my top 5 in LA by just taking an extra step by hiring a piano player and waiters that can sing. Not only do you get great service, but you get a show.

In any type of business, there are always ways that you can stand out. Most companies don't do so because it might "cost" them more up front or take more time. If you put that time and effort into making yourself unique, your business will thrive.

People are always looking for the best of anything. By creating an atmosphere that is welcome and new, people will want to come back and tell all their friends about it.

Awesome job Miceli's. We will definitely be dining here again.
